How We Will Calculate Your Balance: We will use a method called “Average Daily Balance (including new purchases).” See your account agreement for more details.
*Introductory APR: The Introductory APR is not applicable to balance transfers and convenience checks to HSFCU accounts.
**Variable APR: The standard APR for your account is based on an index plus a margin. The margin is shown in your Account Opening Letter. The index is the US Prime Rate published in the Wall Street Journal. We will use the most recent index available as of ten (10) days before the end of the calendar quarter. We will adjust your standard APR if the index differs by at least 100 basis points, up or down, frmo the index last used to establish your standard APR. The adjusted standard APR will be effective as of the start of the statement period of the first month of the new calendar quarter (January, April, July and October).
Application of Payments: Subject to applicable law, the Credit Union may apply your minimum payments in the manner that it chooses. E.g., the Credit Union may apply your minimum payments to transactions with lower APRs before transactions with higher APRs.
New York: New York residents may contact the New York State Banking Department at 1-800-518-8866 to obtain a comparative listing of credit card rates, fees and grace periods.
